Possibly the worst service company I have ever had to deal with. I put a service call in August 2015. 3 engineer visits later the machine is still not fixed. Their customer service team are appalling at dealing with complaints, really unsympathetic and unhelpful. Furthermore they have a pledge on their website promising 'same day' or 'next day' service. On average they offer appointments 10 days+ for the next call out. They really don't care about there customers and provide appalling service. Avoid like the plague

Just had an engineer out to replace a faulty thermostat on my oven. He took one look at it and said he wasn't 'the right person' for the job as my electric oven had a gas hob. This is despite my having provided this info & other details (inc model number)over the phone. The job's been rebooked, but no guarantees that they'll send the 'right person' for the job next time! Tried to phone up to complain, but just kept waiting on hold! What a rubbish service!

We sent for a repair man via the phone number given in our three-year-old AEG-Electrolux oven user manual, since the fan wasn't working.When he arrived, he looked briefly at the oven, declared it we be 'obsolete' and 'a writeoff', marked the job complete and left.Technician showed no interest or concern at all for our problem, and did not inspect or test the oven beyond opening the oven door and poking the fan blades with a screwdriver.Moreover, his diagnosis was wrong, as it was possible to remove the oven casing (Warning: disconnect from mains first!) and clean/oil the fan, which now works.

Repair to John Lewis microwave(which is rubbish)carried out in a competent and efficient manner. A very pleasant young man but it would have been nice if had removed his boots.

Service force were very artful in describing their service to me, I ended up paying £60 for a repair that didn't happen. Disgusted

After reporting that my cooker had broke to Domestic and General on 24/10/12 I was told that Serviceforce from Tamworth, West Midlands, would do the repair on 29/10/12,9p.m. that evening the engineer phoned and said that he would not be coming out as he had "had a bad day" and that I needed to rebook the repair. They failed to keep their second appointment 1/11/12. They eventually repaired my cooker 6/11/12, 13 days later. I think this is totally unacceptable behaviour from both Domestic and General and Serviceforce. I felt as if I was being passed from pillar to post with both these companies. A very very dissatissfied customer.

I received a Beko tumble dryer replacement for my white knight dryer insured with Domestic and General.After 5 weeks the new dryer was faulty,as it was under a 12 month warranty I contacted Beko to get a repair on29/3/2012.A repair engineer called on 5/4/2012 who appeared not to know what the problem was.Today the 15/4/2012 I am still without a tumble dryer.I blame domestic and General for sending me a Beko dryer as a substitute for my white knight,and Swift appliances who do the repair as totally unacceptable waiting time,very rude telephone staff,and I rate the repair time as very very poor.Please feel free to contact me on 07746987535.A very dissatisfied customer.
