I ran into the exact same problem when I was unildibg my websites. I added google adsense so that I could get some relevant traffic but I soon realized that I was paying for people to look at my website and not buying anything. I was offering too much information from my E-book and people didn't feel the need to buy the book because I had posted enough information. The only benefit I got from adsense was my blog following. People found my information useful, but not useful enough to buy the E-book.I was discouraged at first, but then changed my plan of action and am no longer discouraged.I really believe in my idea, and slowly I am seeing benefit!I wish I would have read your post prior to starting my site!
